Just choose the color, put in a WORD or SINGLE letter, and choose color again.
See the results in the field above.

The smart thing to do is to wright the final code down.
Just wright everything you see in the above field down, including the ^ symbol, and the colorcode.
Now go to your ET instalation, go to profiles and change or make new nickname, with the code from the field.
To get the ^ in the field, just push shift 6 on qwerty keybords. shift + 6 = ^
Also you should be able to copy and paste he code with ctrl-v.
